By using our website, submitting a contact form, requesting an estimate, or engaging Auburn Insulation for any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or engage our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and other parties who interact with us.
Auburn Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services in east-central Alabama and west Georgia. Services include but are not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, vapor barrier installation, air sealing, and insulation removal.
All services are subject to a site assessment and written estimate. We reserve the right to decline a project if site conditions make it unsafe or impractical to complete the work to our standards.
Estimates provided by Auburn Insulation are based on information available at the time of the site visit. Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Estimates are not guaranteed prices. If site conditions discovered during the work differ materially from what was visible during the estimate visit - such as hidden moisture damage, pest infestation, or structural issues - we will notify you and provide a revised scope and price before proceeding. No additional work will be performed beyond the original estimate without your written or verbal approval.
Verbal quotes are not binding. Only written estimates signed by an authorized representative of Auburn Insulation constitute a firm pricing commitment.
Once a project is scheduled, we ask that you notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. Repeated last-minute cancellations may affect our ability to prioritize your project.
We will make every reasonable effort to keep your scheduled appointment. Occasionally, unexpected events - equipment issues, weather, prior job delays - may require us to reschedule. We will contact you as soon as possible if that happens and work to find an alternative time that works for you.
You are responsible for ensuring safe and clear access to the work area before the crew arrives. If the work area is not accessible and the crew cannot begin, we may charge a trip fee at our discretion.
Payment is due upon completion of the project unless other arrangements are agreed upon in writing before work begins. For larger projects, we may require a deposit prior to scheduling - this will be stated clearly in your written estimate.
Accepted payment methods include cash, check, and major credit cards. We reserve the right to charge a credit card processing fee, which will be disclosed before payment is processed.
Accounts not paid within 30 days of the invoice date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the unpaid balance. If collection action is required, you agree to pay all reasonable collection costs and attorney fees.
Auburn Insulation warrants its workmanship for a period of one year from the date of project completion. If a defect in our installation is identified within that period, we will return to evaluate and correct the issue at no charge, provided the problem is due to our work and not to conditions outside our control.
Manufacturer warranties on materials (such as insulation products) are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by the manufacturer's own terms. We will provide you with any available manufacturer documentation at project completion.
Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from: water intrusion not caused by our installation, pest activity after project completion, modifications made by others to the insulated area, or normal settling and wear over time. The website and its content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Auburn Insulation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services or your use of our website - including but not limited to loss of income, loss of use, or damage to personal property not directly caused by our work.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific project shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that project. This limitation applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, or any other legal theory.
The content on auburninsulationcompany.com - including text, images, and other materials - is provided for informational purposes only. We make reasonable efforts to keep information current and accurate but do not guarantee that all content is error-free or up to date.
You may not use our website for any unlawful purpose, to transmit harmful code, to scrape or copy content without permission, or to interfere with the site's operation. We reserve the right to block access to users who violate these terms.
If you have a dispute with Auburn Insulation, please contact us first. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through direct communication. Reach us at sales@auburninsulationcompany.com or (334) 780-0056.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to pursue mediation in Lee County, Alabama before filing any lawsuit. If mediation fails, any legal action shall be filed in a court of competent jurisdiction in Lee County, Alabama.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Lee County, Alabama.
